How to use the library's catalogue
There are two ways to access the library catalogue:
One is via the Library Enquiry icon on your desktop.

The second way is choosing Library Enquiry within Sentral. You will find Library Enquiry on the sign-on page of Sentral.

How to print in the Library
Create your document.
To print go to File.
Select Printer
If you wish to print black and white select the printer called Library B&W
If you wish to print colour choose the printer called Library Colour Xerox
Your document should print to the printer near the entrance to the library.If you have any questions or issues do not hesitate to ask for assistance at the desk.
Printing from your own device
To print from BYOD – you must have WIFI access
1. Open a browser
2. Type into the address bar 10.26.16.19/websubmit
3. a login should appear
4. use your WGHS login (usually lastname.firstname) not your internet login
5. browse to find the document you want to print
6. upload
7. view it if you like it
8. tick the box
9. next
10. choose the printer
11. next
12. print
How to find a resource in the non-fiction collection - Dewey Decimal Classification System
The Dewey Decimal Classification System is used to organise the shelving of non-fiction books. This system is an international system of classification that is used in most libraries. Numbers are used so that books on the same subject will be located together on the library shelves.
The 10 Main classes of the DDC system are:
000 Computer Science, information & general works
100 Philosophy & Psychology
200 Religion
300 Social sciences
400 Language
500 Science
600 Technology
700 Arts and recreation
800 Literature
900 History & geography
For example: The book Planet Cake Cupcakes by Paris Cutler has a DDC number of 641.86539 CUT

640 Home and family management
641 Food and drink
641.8 Cooking specific kinds of dishes
641.86539 CUT
CUT being the first 3 letters of the author's surname.
Create your document.
